Repair & Renovation Project Sales Consultant

Job Summary

FBi Buildings, Inc., a leader in the Post-Frame Building Industry, is seeking a full-time Renovation Project Sales Consultant.

JOB SUMMARY:

To develop renovation and repair prospects in specified regions through personal contacts, direct mail programs, referrals, and other marketing efforts. Respond to interested project customers by determining customer needs and matching those needs with FBi capabilities. Set expectations for properly prepared building addition sites with customers. Review project satisfaction with customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Responsible for meeting/exceeding sales forecasts and projections in a specified territory.
  2. Develop lead sources in the region through past customers, influential community leaders, open houses, etc. Assist the marketing department with input for marketing content creation.
  3. Qualify all opportunities that are passed on from Inside Sales Team. Contact all opportunities within 24 hours of the initial call. Keep track of customer progress within the CRM system.
  4. Discover customer needs and match those needs with FBi capabilities. Participate as needed in the design process with the design department. Provide all project specifications and drawings to customers per presented solution as needed.
  5. Field customer objections, close sales, or follow up with the next appropriate step in the sales process. Complete project purchase agreements in full. Collect a down payment.
  6. Educate and advise customers in acquiring all necessary building/lot information to complete local, county, or state permit requirements on small building additions and pre-construction expectations.
  7. Upon completion of the project, monitor the final payment and confirm the complete satisfaction of the customer.
  8. Maintain regular contact with customers and other departments as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting on various job sites up to 25 pounds.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:
This position reports directly VP of Sales.
