Project Developer

Summary/Objective
The Project Developer – Manages and coordinates all aspects of pre-construction and design for Turn-Key Design-Build Projects from inception to construction hand-off including permitting, land acquisition, farm wide programming, facility layout development, and design development. The Project Developer role is responsible to drive effective customer communication and alignment through the various stages of project development, align internal resources, and effectively partner with external consultants. Above all, the Project Developer is responsible to ensure project alignment with customer expectations and needs, problem solve and own customer’s unique challenges, and drive projects through scope, schedule, and budget development in pre-construction.

  1. Drafting, Design Enginering and Project Engineering staff functionally report directly to this position
  2. Oversight of management of projects includes directing project related activities of the project team members as necessary.

Work Environment
This job generally operates in office and occasionally on site. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is full time with some weekend work.TravelTravel is primarily local during the business day, although some projects may require more out-of-the-area and overnight travel.
