Bilingual Field Operations Manager - Ground Up Construction
Owns and directs project execution, including safety, to meet project performance and customer satisfaction goals. Works directly with Subcontractors, Project Management Team and respective Customers to drive safety, project performance, customer satisfaction and accomplish Purchase Agreement requirements. Schedule and supervise eight to twelve crews consisting of five to six men each, to ensure completion of building projects in accordance with the applicable contract documents’ terms.
Setup crew and project for superior project performance, through excellent planning, communication, coordination of crews, subcontractors, tools, equipment, design, and materials to keep project on schedule
Ensure proactive, effective, professional and courteous Customer communication throughout the duration of the project.
Coordinate projects’ design, material take off, and purchasing/manufacturing requirements in maintaining contractual commitments.
Drive and use Summit Team coordination efforts for the overall success of all current and future projects.
Miscellaneous responsibilities, include but are not limited to: securing equipment, motel rooms, per-diem for crews and tracking and logging variances in pricing for projects.
Maintain a cost accountability of entire project.
Maintain quality level of projects. Ensure the successful completion of all projects on schedule, within the quality requirements.
Demonstrate the key character traits of orderliness, initiative, thoroughness, dependability, determination, persuasiveness, and resourcefulness.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering related field of study
Experience in ground up construction
Experience leading large scope projects a plus
A Bilingual Field Operations Manager must be a quick learner, problem solver, and be able to communicate effectively to gain the trust of construction personnel. Must be an effective team player with a heart to do what it takes to Do Right, On Time,With Excellence!
