Marketing and Sales

Engineering, Design, and Estimating
We don’t build cookie cutter buildings. Even though our method of construction is pre-engineered, every project is designed meet the unique requirements of each individual customer. Our estimators, designers and engineers are gifted problem solvers, using creativity to find the best solutions that balance economy with aesthetics and structural integrity. Given the many markets we serve, there is a constant variety and abundant opportunity for innovation.
Project Management
Meeting our customers’ deadlines is a top priority. That’s why we have a team exclusively dedicated to the efficient movement of manpower and materials. At FBi, project management isn’t just another thing added to a salesperson’s list of duties. It’s a full time job for skilled professionals who are nimble, thoroughly understand the construction process, have excellent customer service skills and enjoy the challenges that unpredictable weather and permitting offices can cause to otherwise perfectly planned schedules.
Manufacturing and Distribution
Surrounding our corporate office is a large lumberyard and manufacturing plant. All the materials necessary for a completed job are staged, bundled and shipped from here. Some, such as the wood trusses, laminated columns and precut wood framing are manufactured here as well. Our distribution team uses company-owned semi trucks and cranes to deliver and place materials on job sites throughout Indiana and Illinois. Jobs in this functional area appeal to people who want to be part of an efficient choreography of materials and enjoy hands-on, outdoor work, but without the rigorous physical demands of construction.
Construction
The heart of FBi Buildings is our team that works at the job site. Construction workers and managers enjoy the benefits of working outdoors and the hearty physical challenge of post-frame work. Our company provides year-round employment, top-of-the industry pay, paid travel to job sites, paid weather days and the tools and equipment to get the job done. Field workers also enjoy the extra income potential of paid overtime and incentive pay based on performance.
