Highlights from the 2003 Farm Progress Show

The huge 50th Anniversary Farm Progress Show near Henning, Illinois turned out to be only a one-day event. Large amounts of rain caused the last two days of the show to be cancelled. Fortunately, the first day was beautiful and filled with a record crowd of show-goers. If you had planned on visiting us on Wednesday or Thursday, now you can see what you missed!

This was Tuesday’s FBi lineup. What a good-lookin’ bunch!

Early morning crowds start to gather. If you look closely, you can see that even on Tuesday, things were already a bit muddy from earlier rains.

This year, our building was located near New Holland and across from Dodge.

Perhaps the main attraction in our building was the new PERMA-COLUMN™. This revolutionary steel-reinforced concrete column system is the most exciting development in post-frame construction – ever.

People lined up to register for one of twelve Ertl collectible tractors… and to talk to our Sales Consultants.

As show-goers viewed the PERMA-COLUMN, we heard several often-recurring comments: “This is great idea!” “Why didn’t anyone think of this before?” and “That thing will last forever.”

Along with new construction, FBi also offers a wide range of services for existing buildings. The FBi Service Team occupied one end of the building.

Here’s why Wednesday and Thursday were cancelled. This shot was taken Weds. morning.
